We’re looking for engineers who enjoy the operational side of infrastructure: the choreography of racks arriving on loading docks, systems coming online for the first time, and solving problems directly on the datacenter floor.
You’ll work closely with deployment, networking, facilities, and hardware teams to turn empty space into functioning compute capacity.
What you’ll do
- Deploy and validate servers, storage, and networking hardware in production datacenters.
- Verify power, airflow, cabling, and rack integration before systems enter service.
- Troubleshoot field hardware failures and coordinate repair or replacement procedures.
- Improve deployment tooling, operational runbooks, and datacenter workflows.
- Collaborate with facilities and logistics teams on scaling new infrastructure safely and efficiently.
- Help define operational standards for future hardware deployments.
Requirements
- Experience working with datacenter or enterprise infrastructure hardware.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting ability across servers, networking, and power systems.
- Comfort working in physical datacenter environments around live production systems.
- Ability to stay organized and methodical during operational incidents.
Nice to have
- Experience with rack integration, structured cabling, or large-scale hardware staging.
- Familiarity with asset management and hardware lifecycle tracking.
- Experience supporting cloud or hyperscale infrastructure.
- Understanding of power distribution and cooling systems.
